Sonic & Exe is a 2D platformer game made in Game Maker. It was the very first Sonic.exe game created by Jaiz Koys, before Sonic.exe Nightmare Beginning. There were three versions of the game: a first version being a 2-part, complete game dubbed "Sonic & Exe: Origins", a second version, also being a complete game, that was only available in Russian, and a third, newer version that was ultimately cancelled but had a playable demo.

Sonic is sleeping in the void, then he wake up and starts to walk and visit a random person and he wanted to kill Sonic The Hedgehog. But Sonic tells him that he is unbeatable and the fact that he looks like his clone and then he leaves to escape. Meanwhile Tails and Knuckles are trying to escape Exetior wrath but he manage to capture Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman and got the chaos emeralds and tries to capture sonic but sonic escaped by going in the warp ring and they have to find sonic and capture him.
